Go Green School of Motoring is the latest funky concept to arrive in the automatic driving school market place. At present Go Green School of Motoring are leading the way in environmentally friendly driving lessons, the reason is that we use low emission hybrid vehicles to teach in, these vehicles are designed to be much more carbon friendly than most vehicles and are all automatic, which is perfect for us !!!
Go Green School of Motoring was launched in June 2008 and as previously stated is another funky concept brought to you from a company with great breeding. Go Green School of Motoring is part of Kan Kan Limited who are the UK’s largest female only driving school. Kan Kan being a company with a great moral positioning decided that it was high time a driving school offered not only automatic driving lessons, but automatic driving lessons with a real difference in LOW EMISSION automatic cars. Not having previously being able to offer automatic driving lessons GO GREEN School of Motoring seemed to be the best way of promoting this exciting and new concept.
Our Instructors:
Seeing the road ahead is what it's about and Alan Goodman, who heads up GO GREEN in Leeds and Bradford, is no stranger to the world of perfect instruction. Alan is a very experienced instructor who amongst many talents also trains people to become driving instructors, Alan is a firm believer in value for money on your lessons. Alans' professional outlook has been his success, he states " You have to give pupils a true perspective when teaching, you also have to give the pupil value for money thats what makes me stand out from the rest. You have to teach as if you were the pupil, my standards are high so I give them nothing more than I would expect thats why I always have a high number of referals, the pupils keep me going "
Alan, prior to becoming an instructor had a number of successful businesses and has a wealth of knowledge in his field, Alan has helped many instructors achieve very high standards of instruction and on top of all that is a great guy !! Alan has a very young outlook so pupils old and young appreciate his manner and sense of humour.

Eco Friendly Lessons & The Car
From the get go you will notice something very different, the car, clothed in its destinctive green footprints you know that we are serious about what we are doing and to give lessons in a hybrid car is a bit different too. Your lessons will be filled with what you need, that is DRIVING !!
The Toyota Prius Hybrid is a great example of what modern cars are all about, it has a petrol engine and also an electric motor under the bonnet, when setting off the car is in "all electric" mode and upto 30 miles per hour the car is silent, over that the car uses the engine and motor together and this really cuts down on the carbon emissions. The gearbox is a CVT ( Constant Variable Transmission ) and once in gear you will never hear the car change gear, effectively is push and go. Alan states " The toyota is one of the easiest cars I have ever driven, I am confident that I could teach anyone how to drive in this vehicle its that simple".
Alan also states " Its great that I can do my job whislt knowing I am also helping reduce carbon emissions, everyone should do there bit and I am !! oops I mean we !! ".
